"I booked Kurunduketiya as a birthday present for my partners 30th and some nice accommodation to finish our holiday at. However due to poor administrational errors, the resort didn’t have the correct details of our booking which we had paid for in full. It wasn’t until I reached out with questions about the booking 5 days prior that they contacted me to tell me that they had double booked and that we had to cut our stay short one night. "The manager, Nandu, was really helpful in setting up morning safari for us on short notice after our previous accommodation fell through. The breakfast and dinner were hearty and super affordable. It’s not exactly 5 or even 3 star accommodation (AC leaked onto the bed and the bathroom had some flies), but for value for the money it’s a good pick. We saw tons of elephants on safari."
