"An old-fashioned hotel — decorations circa 1960? - with old-fashioned service and attention. We felt like we had gone back in time and loved it."

"The staff was very kind and accommodating. The premises was quiet and smelled very nice. My sink did have a leak, the tile of the bathtub was falling off, and my trash cans already had trash in them. But honestly, I’d just stayed in a hostel and was thrilled to have a room to myself."

"Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. "The Hedgerow was a very nice place to stay for a couple of nice. The room was bright and very modern. The shower was very big and wonderful. It was close to many towns close by with restaurants, stores, pubs, beaches. The hosts, Cillian and Sarah, were very friendly and made sure we had a great stay. I would recommend it."

"Thank you John for letting us stay. Great location to cliffs. 8 minute walk to downtown area. Not a ton of places to eat. But a couple. 2 convent stores. Wish I could have stayed for a month"

"Informative host that made sure the stay was great, gave great recommendations for the stay and where I was traveling to. Would recommend! "

"Location of the house was great, Miltown Malbay being a nice and quiet village. Walking distance to the centre. House could be maintained more regularly and bathrooms cleaner when we arrived. Key pick up and dropp off smooth. But all in all overall experience still good. "

"This is a lovely older property, well maintained, and run by delightful people."
