"This hotel could be good but disappointed in several ways, some of which could be improved. The location was good, handy to nearby major roads. Parking was very good. Check-in via the handy external kiosk demanded immediate full payment even though the room had been prepaid (this extra payment was manually refunded after the very helpful manager arrived at 5pm to staff reception). "It is a quaint little place, nice location and the staff are friendly. Unfortunately it is let down a serious lack of parking. I had to park on the street 15 minutes walk away. The shower in our room was a trickle and my partner was cold all night. The rooms are big with old style heating so not very effective, plus one radiator in the room did not seem to be working."

"We have stayed here before and the hotel has lookled a little "tired". We had a a refurbished room and it was small but good. Sound proofing from the nearby TGV railway line is excellent so we were surprised that we could here a loud TV until 1am. Main disappointment was the sun loungers around the small pool - only 4 and 2 were broken. More loungers are promised for 2014. We will stay there again - excellent breakfast for the price."

We also ate at the restaurant which was excellent (Although I wouldn't eat there if you are in a rush as it took us over 2 hours to finish our 3 courses. "Basic, but value for money. No lift, so a bit of a climb to second floor rooms. Rooms small, with minimum furnishings, but clean. Beds comfortable, ensuite showers clean and efficient. Two night stay and one room was not cleaned. Explanation given was that they did not have a duplicate key.... Curtains in one room inadequate. Rooms to back, so no noise from busy road outside. TV.
