"The cabin was amazing. It is definitely off the beaten path, but if you are looking for a quiet peaceful stay this is the place. The views are spectacular and the weather really showed off the mountains. The cabin itself is clean, well stocked and charming. We played foosball and PacMan in the game room. We had s’mores and sat by the fire pit and grilled burgers one night. We took a day trip into West Jefferson (I lived there when I was younger) It has definitely turned into a tourist town, but...

"We loved the attention to detail with the decor of the room. It reminded us of luxury safari tents. The bed was comfortable; the coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator were useful, and the ambience was fantastic. The only downside is having the restroom up the hill, but the restroom was clean and included nice showers. I would definitely stay in the tent again, though it would be nice to stay for a longer time."

"Our family had a wonderful stay at the Lucky Dog Cabin to celebrate Christmas. Sheila was a great host, who responded quickly, and gave great recommendations for our family with littles. The downstairs room was a fun area for the kids. She had everything we needed there. We will definitely stay again "
