"Arrived at 9.00 Fri evening t
He couldn't find any record of my booking, even after showing booking confirmation and reference. The place had a musty smell and a unclean feel to it.
It looks as if there has been no attempts of upkeep at the property for years.
I did not stay and found somewhere else to stay"
"The key was collected from the shop serving the petrol station which I didn’t know at the time. There is a Greggs and Subway which is very handy for food etc. also the garage station is a Londis which sells items as well. The actual rooms are located behind the building of Greggs and Subway hidden away from the main public area and road. My room was clean and the bathroom was clean and functional. "Unfortunately there was no shower in my ensuite and I was too fussy to use the shared shower, also it was too noisy for me as I was working long shifts so I had to cancel after the first night. However the pub downstairs looked really busy and welcoming & the staff were absolutely fantastic."
"Great property and location with a stunning view of the the Axe valley, Axmouth and Seaton. Very hospitable hosts and an excellent breakfast. Nice lounge and good parking, great place for a resting break and plenty to do and see in the area."

"I was so pleased I chose this hotel for overnight stay, it got everything I needed and I was in so love with room, absolutely gorgeous. Feel like I was at home, so comfy. Staff were super helpful and lovely. Location was so perfect, easy to travel to the town via foot and the Torquay harbours."

Room was immaculately clean with a fan, iron (and board), hairdryer, microwave, toaster, fridge and kettle (also tea, coffee and milk, that you can have refilled if you need more). Staff were absolutely fantastic from the time we checked in to when we left. Bar and food area downstairs (also plenty of outdoor seating).
