Head to Clashnessie Beach and Stoer Beach—just two of the sights around Clashmore.

Clashmore. A small hamlet overlooking Loch na Claise. The township was established in the 1870s by the Sutherland Estate as a model village when much emphasis was had into 'improving' barren land. This only lasted ten years or so when the crofters rebelled against the landlords and many cottages were burned.
