"My biggest takeaway from my stay was two things. The first thing that I noticed was no one asked me for my Hilton's rewards number. I am a member and I love staying at Hilton, but after my check and I realized that I wasn't asked was I a member. Unfortunately I did not receive any of the perks that Hilton rewards members get for my stay. The next day I went to front desk to tell them that I was rewards member when the staff just said, oh okay, and that was the end of the conversation about that....

I understand, I booked the room with Expedia, and the decision was ours to walk out and lose the money for the one night, but I didn’t guess Expedia partners with hotels with lower quality. ...
