"This was a lovely relaxing stay in a spacious clean room with a partial view over Lake Maggiore. The beds were comfortable, the room was quiet and restful. The breakfast was good value. The staff were lovely, and the hotel was generally kept in good condition and is situated in a great location just up from the railway station. The included Ticino card was great for local travel. "What a gem of a place! It's run by two folks who clearly put a lot of care, attention, and hospitality knowledge into the experience. I loved the location which was across from a bus stop that runs right into town, next to a grocery store, and within short walking distance of the lovely Ascona waterfront. It was also a good location for morning runs. The breakfast was good and while I didn't try the restaurant, it had lively crowds and the food looked delicious. Highly recommend!"

Le village de Cannero est très joli notamment le bord de lac (beaucoup plus que Cannobio!).
La maison est très bien située et la vue magnifique.
Paolo est très sympatique, féru d'art et donne pleins de bons conseils.

"Ich bin schon 7x in dem Hotel gewesen liegt Zentral und Preis Leistung mit Frühstück gut.Aber nun den gestrigen auf Heute Aufenthalt war nicht gut.Bekam das kleinste Zimmer Nr.63.Bett schmal und die Matratze fühlte sich an wie 1 Brett.Habe schon früh gebucht für den 26./27.06.Hoffe auf ein besseres Zimmer wie früher."
"Well first problem I have been double billed once by expedia and then second by the hotel. Took over an hour waiting for entry to the room. The Wifi didn’t work. the television didn’t work and the assigned parking wasn’t assigned. The room was very clean and the appliances state of the art. The restaurant was great and the breakfast was excellent. I didn’t enjoy not having a person to speak with and every response was that they would pass in on to the local staff but nobody was there."
"Wir waren nur zum Schlafen dort! Es wäre ein superschönes Hotel, aber leider lässt man es langsam aber sicher verkommen! Das gute: online Checkin und -out war einfach und funktionierte einwandfrei! Es ist ziemlich ‚ringhörig‘! Die Aussicht bei den Seezimmern ist super. Preis mit 135 Franken für die Nacht war okay! Nur zum Schlafen würden wir es wieder buchen…."
"The room we received was not a studio as advertised and even as stated in the reservation confirmation. A basic room with a matrimonial bed and auxiliary bed in the basement, instead of the upper floor appartment the Expedia listing showed.
The room was clean, and aircon was a blessing, but it was not possible to bring auxilliary bed with pull-out frame onto a level sleeping height, it remained step-up for our entire stay, making it tough nights for the 3rd person. We requested help when the...
