"Clearly, trying to update a very old hotel is commendable but no “A for effort” here. I would give it a “F” for fail because once you update it, you must keep it clean. If the bed and bath were not clean, I would have left because the parking lot, grounds, lobby, carpet, elevator were not. And if you can’t sleep with a very loud AC unit, move on.
