"I was skeptical because the price was quite low, but I was pleasantly surprised with the high standards they keep. Very clean, well maintained, friendly staff, and overall great stay. Only caveat is that the "breakfast" is coffee and waffles or cereal, but that's a small trade for all the important stuff they get right. Would definitely stay again. "

"The staff was great. Very clean and quiet. We had an accessible room. Just a couple things that I would change are a taller toilet and a lower bed and a vertical handicap handle by toilet. Was a great place and would stay again."

"This motel is GROSS! The mirrors were filthy ,poop on toilet, no washcloths or hand towels 1 bath towel. Beds out dated. Rotting walls. Reviews all the same management apologies but didn’t fix the problem. Towel rack wasn’t even attached to wall. "

"Loyal Duke was perfect for my stay. Easy in and out. Surprisingly good service. Great location for exploring the area. The room is a solid 4 stars, which is above expectations. I worked in my room half the day and biked out to the hills the second half."

"The hotel is nice with free parking and a great shower. The air conditioning didn't work well. They had a maintenance guy come up and it worked temporarily, but it was spotty through the night. There were times we woke up drenched in sweat. Then it would click on like it was a naughty child that only behaves when it's being watched."

"Front desk women were helpful and informed. First floor hears footsteps above which could be a nuisance. Breakfast included was the best at a hotel buffet I've used, and staff in breakfast room hustled to accommodate everyone! Coffee could be stronger and better quality. Overall a nice hotel with good staff! Would recommend and stay again"
