"Pros:The location for skiing was perfect; you could walk right out of the locker room to the ski area. The restaurants and staff were super friendly. Cons:The parking was a hike, and dropping off your luggage was challenging. We had a difficult time trying to find check-in for the Expedition Station. Overall, it was a clean, safe, and amazing location!"

I got a text from the owner of the house the day of check in asking if we had a 4WD vehicle as the road goes unplowed usually. Luckily, we had AWD and snow tires so we were okay. "We had an amazing stay at this cabin in Slaty Fork! The location was perfect just a short drive to Snowshoe Mountain, making it super convenient for skiing. The cabin itself was clean, cozy, and well-stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.The fireplace and hot tub made for the perfect spot to relax after a long day on the slopes, and the scenic surroundings added to the charm. The host was great, responsive and helpful throughout our stay."

"The cabin was cozy and nicely equipped for 2 people. The hot tub was in excellent condition and had an outdoor TV. The cabin was within a mile outside the town of Monterey. We enjoyed the Maple Festival. Would definitely stay there again!"
