"Everything was super. I would like to see gluten free bread to make toast in the morning added to what Travellers may need. Muffins are not my thing."

"Walls were thin and everyone was loud - neighbors played loud music, smoked and carried on loud conversations for hours right outside of our room. Seemed like they were having a party in the parking lot."

"Updated, clean. Friendly staff. Location is great!"

"Staff not very friendly. Looks like they hate their jobs. Young lady finished signing guest in and walked away without saying anything. Gentlemen at the end of the counter totally ignored us for a while then brought up his head and asked if we had reservations. No smile, no welcome to the comfort Inn. These two employees are the first in the front lines that make for a good stay or a bad one. Rooms were very clean. The two employees certainly need some training"

"Terrific motel! Was perfect for our one night stay."

"Thank you"

"This location, The Charles Inn at Vacationland in Bangor, ME is on your website and allowed me to book 3 rooms and it hasn’t been in operation for 2 yrs. I drove 4 hrs with family to arrive and find out we in fact did not have rooms to stay the weekend for my daughter’s college graduation. I had no other option but to look for 3 rooms elsewhere at the last minute and had to pay $1,300 more than I thought I was paying for the first place I thought I had booked. This location needs to be removed...

"We just spent 3 nights here over 4th of July weekend. Overall, the property was nice, clean, and comfortable; however, it was advertised as sleeping 4 people when it only sleeps 2. There is only one bedroom with a double bed and that’s it. There’s a couch in the living room, but it’s NOT a sleeper. We booked this place as there were 4 of us (myself and my boyfriend as well as my parents). We ended up having to get my parents a room at a nearby hotel as there was no place for them to sleep...

"Regarding communication rating:If you are going to rent the property, just know that you cannot access the host even in an emergency. You cannot communicate with anyone that could advocate on your behalf. The property looks lovely and I’m sure it would’ve been great. I travel to Maine often so I am disappointed about this aspect of it. Because of this very practical concern, unfortunately I am likely not to rent the property again."
