"The Good: Clean, wifi, aircon and it’s a safe place, local supermarket is very close (Pam local), metro is very close. Clean sheets and towel and everyday. No noise from street and every one is respectful. Press button to open front door which is really good and safe. The Bad: Area is not so good but the goods outweigh this by being safe. Would I stay here again? If I am on a budget - Yes If I am on a budget - No"

"What a gem of a spot. Step out the door and you are in the heart of old Bergamo. The small hotel rests in an old structure dating back hundreds of years, so one should not expect "luxury" but a sweet experience in a historical location. "

"5 min walk from metro... 15 mins from centeal station.... room ha everything i needed and was clean..... would deffo use this hotel again..... "

"I enjoyed 2 nights here. It was clean and easy to handle breakfast and check-in. Overall appearance .....needs some paint outside/inside and around windows. Back garden could have been darling if tools and ladders were put away in the shed with the doors closed. Overall it could be charming."

Convenient location to sightseeing. It is a quaint hotel so if you want fancy go somewhere else but if you want a wonderful Italian local feel this is the best place."

"It's fine. Cheap place to stay. The noise is the biggest issue. There were dogs barking in reception one morning and no attempt from anyone to quiet them down. On the last night there was someone in a room practicing opera from 10pm til gone midnight. Think they need to remind guests and staff this is a hotel and people are trying to sleep. But as I say it's clean, cheap and staff were friendly."

"The room would be good, but it was impossible to sleep due to the heat and the mosquitoes. I was suffering the whole night and at 3am I went to the reception but no one answered the bell. When I saw that the room has AC I booked it but when I moved in I came to the realization that the AC is 15 EUR extra per night, which is a very sneaky unfair charge which would be not expected. Finally I could sleep 1 hour 40 minutes after suffering the whole night. Here never again!! "

"The hotel is very clean, the people very welcoming and helpfull, very basic, nice brakefast. the only minus is the it's very far from Como. the road is difficualt and not for the fainted heart, but beautiful, filled with natur. We had a very nice stay."

"The Woodhouse hotel was our base for attending the Bruce Springsteen concert in Monza, which is just a bus and train ride away. The hotel is no frills, but has all the comfort you need, from good beds to clean rooms. The staff are very friendly and helpful. "I have been coming here for years as one time it was fashion week the hotels were all sold out. This is home away from home, relaxing, always a pleasure coming back "

"The hotel itself was great. It had a retro feel which we loved and the staff were lovely. However, it seemed we couldn’t leave and re-enter after 10pm as we didn’t get a key to the main door. It also felt quite unsafe outside as there were many men hanging around trying to talk to you as you looked for the entrance. The entrance is quite concealed, so would be useful to be given instructions on how to find it. "
