"We arrived exhausted with a baby in arms and they wouldn’t accept our reservation. Either the lady was too lazy to look, or there is a problem with the app, or the hotel doesn’t work with the app anymore but the listing is still here. Either way they wouldn’t let us stay and the lady was very rude. She didn’t even bother trying to be accommodating. Now this app won’t give me a refund as if I just chose not to stay there instead of being turned away. I had to book another stay and walk across...
"What an exceptional stay this was. I stayed in a 4 star hotel in Lima afterwards that didn’t have the thoughtfulness and service as this one. Staff were super helpful, breakfast was delicious, the room had special touches, and was very clean. If I ever come back to Cusco, would stay here again in a heartbeat!"
"This hostel was a magnificent surprise. I needed a spot to keep my things while I went on a jungle tour. After the tour I spent time there. It’s in a great walkable area- lots of vegan restaurants near- heaven! My only negative comment is the smell from the plumbing wasn’t great. The staff was helpful, breakfast was served, WiFi worked great, and it was clean. I’d stay there again."
"For solo women travellers, the area the hotel is located in is very safe for walking. Its about 10min walk from the main attractions. The hotel has 24 hrs person in the reception area and they keep the lobby locked at all times (doorbell for access).
Uber does come to this location and it's cheap (about 6 sols) to go to the plaza des arms if you don't feel like walking.
If you are getting tours, they were able to pick up from this area but you would have to check with the specific...
"The staff was very friendly and helpful, however it is close to a busy street and the walls are very thin so we did not get very good sleep due to the noise"
"This hotel was nice with an excellent view over Cusco and it is conveniently located near all the main attractions. They kindly stored our bags during our trip to Machu Picchu which was very helpful. Having said this, the breakfast was quite minimal and we did have to pay extra per egg each morning so claiming breakfast is included was slightly misleading. Also, our room had a very bad smell during our stay which we think was from the plumbing. We did try to keep the windows open but there is no...
