"Irene did a great job accommodating our needs and showing us hospitality. I liked Transient house because it seems the best balance between all criteria - value, service... but also elevation: it is located high enuf to give great views but not too far from valley/ village. We got to go to a wedding while we were here. Very cool! "

"Ramon’s Homestay is an excellent spot for backpackers wishing to visit Batad and it’s beautiful rice terraces. Perfectly accommodating for the price, and excellent hosts, including Ramon himself, who give great information on the local culture and area."

"We felt very welcome here. At arrival we were offered a nice cup of cofee and a good talk. Fine clean room with good beds. Nice sitting room with open fireplace. We ordered breakfast next morning and it was very good. Only thing we did not like was that the room was rather cold in the evening and night. "
