"It was not as described. We were given an upstairss room, stairs only, no elevator. I’m handicapped, I am unable to climb stairs. I called the hotel contact number, as there is no one on site; it was self check-in. The female representative of the hotel told me she would cancel our reservation with an apology for a lack of notice and information and refund our money. I still have not received my money back in spite of numerous calls by Expedia, myself as well as an email summarizing this...
"Loved it! Cosby, usually quiet, included breakfast that was good, helpful staff, close to gas station, and restaurant/s. Bed wasn’t uncomfortable to me."
"The pod was exactly as described - clean, no frills but cozy. Was a crazy windy and rainy night we were there and the pod was great. The common area was well equipped and there were enough bathrooms to be shared with the pods when we were in the space."
"Let’s start with the positives- cute little cabin with great access to the big waterfalls, quiet, probably a fantastic location to view the northern lights, the shower didn’t leak water onto the floor, beds were comfortable, decent kitchen set up, some very nice restaurants close by, it did in fact sleep four people.
Now for the negatives- upon arrival we realized the toilet paper dispenser was locked and the paper wouldn’t dispense. There were no extra rolls of toilet paper available. I tried...
"Beautiful cozy cottage with breathtaking views. We loved walking down the road to meet the cows and the orange farm cat. We had everything we needed during our 2 night stay, it was a wonderful way to end our first trip to Iceland."

"This was a guesthouse where we were greeted by the owner as we drove up. She showed us our room, which was clean and comfortable. She also made wonderful pancakes for breakfast for everyone, it felt like a family meal. I would recommend to anyone wanting something other than the sterile hotel room experience. "

Bad points.the house was very dilapidated, in very bad condition externally which gives a bad first impression .lots of flies around. Room very stark, nothing cosy. Shared bathroom not in good state of repair, pedal bin in bathroom full to the brim with sanitary towels, clearly not emptied in quite a number of days. Very overpriced ."
