"Nice clean and cheap hotel as advertised. Staff friendly and quick check in. Rooms are decent size although separate wash hand basin in room was a bit odd. Air con functional which was good as warm nights. The breakfast is good selection and no complaints. The only downside I found was location which I hadn’t realised is almost as an off shoot of main roads, between a McD and a petrol station. "Cutting corners on everything in order to make a profit leads to a cold robot like environment where codes, machines, formats rule. Not synonym with hospitality which is a human trait. "

"This is an excellent choice for seeing Saumur. It is in an old building with a lot of character. My room was large, with wooden beamed ceiling, tall windows that opened, and a limestone fireplace I wish I had in my home. Ensuite had shower and had plenty of space. Bed was comfortable. "The room was a very small box room in the attic. Had an en-suite. Air con worked when it wanted. Could not open window as it opened over the bed. Breakfast was 8.50€ per person. You were given a small basket with one croissant each,one pain du chocolate each and some very hard bread. Plus the other continental breakfast fare. Did not feel it was worth it. Been in other budget hotels and they were mych better"
