"We found the property clean but lacking, certainly not "Superb". The decor was sparse e.g. bare light bulbs. Negatives Bathroom: no mirror, no towel rails, only one hand towel in the property for three. Kitchen: Two sets of knives & forks for three, no large glasses or wine glasses, no fire blanket/extinguisher, no downstairs smoke alarm I could spot. Footbridge below Low Field Walking the footpath on the north side of the River Greta from east to west, one crosses a stile and is suddenly confronted with a surprise scene, as the small reentrant beck on the other side of the wall has cut a little gorge which was invisible from the approach. A jig to the right reaches this little footbridge leading to the continuation of the footpath to Bowes.
