"Fairly large room, good view of the town, central location. Plenty of tea, coffee, milk, kettle in room. even an iron and ironing board. The TV was small but worked well. Access is via a long staircase over 3 floors pending on which room you get, best to travel light or it can be bit of a haul. We have used ML lodge before and would use it again, its great value for money. One tip, lock your door from inside/outside as it does not lock automatically on closure to avoid unexpected interruptions...

"The bed was really comfy. The room, including the carpet, was very clean. The decor is a bit tired in places (faded curtains and tatty bathroom). The TV is tiny. There was no floor towel in the bathroom so ask for one when you check in."

"This property served our needs well and we appreciated the close proximity to the Castle and other sights. We were in the upper unit, the guests in the lower unit did mention that the sounds from above carried through the floor making it quite noisy. If you have the option, choose the top floor. "
