There is a beautiful hiking trail right by the hotel. Good souvenir stores right next to hotel. My daughter had her birthday while we were there and the staff ordered her a Black Forest birthday cake and decorated the table for her. I was very impressed with their service to help make this a memorable day for my daughter.

This place is a gem. Though we visited in March, where the nights can get cold, our room was very comfortable. Though it was quaint and charming, it had all the modern conveniences. It was helpful to be able to park in front and unload our luggage before moving our car to the suggested car park close by. We enjoyed our breakfast in the downstairs breakfast room, and Antoine suggested a nice place for a Monday night dinner, given that most restaurants are closed on Monday. We loved wandering...

Room was clean and in order. Location is accesible to public transpiration . Kitchen was ok but there’s a pungent smell when I opened the dishwasher . There’s only 1 small garbage can in the toilet, I wish there was another in main room . The main door can be opened even without entering a code to open, I found this unsafe because anyone can gain access inside the property.

Was a great stay. We had booked 2 “family” rooms that could hold 3-4 people as there were 7 of us. Something happened and they only had rooms that could hold 2 people. Since there were 7 of us, they gave us 4 rooms and free breakfast as a consolation. Very nice staff.

I needed a stay for just one night as a stop on route and this hotel served that purpose very well. It offers an affordable stay with easy check-in and check-out and a clean room comfortable for a stay such as mine.

I want to applaud the entire staff of Arc-en-Ciel. I was travelling with my senior citizen father during the recent extreme heatwave. Given the need to protect him, I arrived long before check-in, hoping we could store our bags and head to a grocery store or some other cool place to wait out the peak of the sun’s strength.
