"Finding a clean, budget-friendly motel in the Ruidoso area can be surprisingly tough for a solo traveler—even during the off-season. However, this property really delivered for a quick 1-2 night stay. The interiors look recently remodeled and have a modern, Choice Hotel-style feel. While the complimentary breakfast could use a bit more variety, it’s hard to complain given the price point. If you want something heartier, the Log Cabin Restaurant is just a short drive north and serves incredible French toast and pancakes."

"Breakfast wasn’t bad, but it was all carbs. Waffles, cereal, toast, bagels… no eggs or meats. There was yogurt and milk, but those were the only proteins. In addition, WiFi was so intermittent I used my hot spot which defeated the point of “Free WiFi”"
