"I recently stayed at the Avalon in St. Pete and had a wonderful experience. The staff at the front desk were incredibly nice and welcoming. I appreciated the complimentary water and even free wine. "Hotel was a bit dated in the lobby, the rooms were okay. The beds were rock hard and some what slanted or broken down in places. The air conditioner barely worked properly. However, it’s not really a complaint as all of the other hotels in the area wanted 300$ a night and this was nearly 100$ the rooms condition was clean and per the reviews I was a little bit nervous about that but all was well. "The desk clerk was so warm and welcoming - a big plus as we’d traveled most of the day and had a 9pm check in time. She was a breath of fresh air and so encouraging."

"First, the good!! Family of 4 stayed from Friday, 06/07/24 and checked out Tuesday, 06/11/24. The staff was WONDERFUL! Very helpful, very friendly. We stayed in a Suite. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us. The kitchen area was nice to include the bar area for eating. And a good amount of counter space. The 2 closets were a plus!
