"Room as per described in web. No breakfast though payment made was for room & breakfast. The reason we chose this hotel as they provide breakfast & that time was festive sesaon. No restaurant open that time. Not even a single bread from 7-Eleven given as a replacement. Have to walk thru smoking-floor to get to the non-smoking floor. We had bad cough as a result of it as me & my son are asthmatic. Parking less security"

"Room is generally OK, with bright windows. Would have been a great stay if not for the extremely poor Wi-fi. Most of the time there is no signal, resulting in dropped connections. In fact one of the guests in another room had to check out and move to another hotel in order to get a proper wifi for his work. That is a shame."

"The frontdesk staff especially Selvam was very accomodating and also generous with the bottled water giveaways. The room was clean and the AC was freeeeezing just like a Proton Automobile. Don't expect 5 star facilities as this is obviously a budget hotel and you'll be fine. The bathroom could use a tune up as some of the equipment inside were reaching their end-of-life. Would come back again."

"Entire unit was very spacious. 3 rooms all clean and beautifully done. Amazing view from out balcony into tambun retreat. Complete kitchen stuffs provided. Android TV was a A plus addition. Entire unit was clean and nice. We had 3 amazing days. 4 mins walk into tambun retreat. Hope you can add mirrors inside the rooms and the door lock quite dangerous for kids. My 3 year old niece locked herself inside. Thank god she was smart enough to listen us how to unlock it. Other then that amazijg place...

"THEY PUT ME IN ROOM 102, WHICH HAS UNLOCKED WINDOWS AND IS ACCESSIBLE FROM THE OUTSIDE. I COULDNT SLEEP BECAUSE I WAS SCARED OF BEING MUGGED! THE TOILET IS FILTHY WITH MOSS AND WHATNOT AND THE TV DOESNT WORK. I WILL NEVER RETURN ANS I HOPE THE HOTEL BURNED DOWN BECAUSE OF STUPID MANAGEMENT. THE STAFF SAID THE DEPOSIT WILL GET REFUNDED ON 2 DAYS NOTICE. IF IVE KNOWN I COULDVE PAID THE DEPOSIT VIA CASH. WHAT YOU GIVE YOU GET BACK. I AM AN UNHAPPY CUSTOMER."

"Quiet location and great if you stay Saturday night and want to take in the Flea market on Sunday morning , it's right in the parking lot. Great walkable area. "

"Very comfortable, clean and the rate is reasonable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location may be a little hidden and there's no signage showing to the hotel entrance."

"The property has a very nice living area, and a very nice and helpful staff. Our individual bedroom as very nice and comfortable, just a little small, but it even had a sink which was supper convenient. Property is at a walkable distance from the city center and the tourist attractions, as well as a shopping mall."

Look at the pictures (which look great) and imagine what it will look like 15 years or so later unmaintained and little cleaned,. Imagine any hotel, nightmares you can think of, and you’ll find them in this hotel. "I had a fine stay for one night, just to catch a morning train (It's conveniently located near railway and bus terminals). So I wasn't expecting much, and the hostel largely delivered.The beds, plumbing and Internet were all reliable. But what the photos don't show you is that the "rooms" are in fact cubicles - the thin walls fall short of the ceiling. This allows the units to be cooled by central airconditioning units, which is eco friendly - but lets in lots of noise from neighboring rooms....
