"The pool bartender made the best caipirinhas. The room was very clean and property was well maintained. The breakfast was good and staff helpful and friendly. It is about a 10 minute walk to town, we walked every day. It is uphill on the way back so it was a good workout. If you don’t want a steep uphill walk on the way back, consider driving or a taxi. We would stay there again."
"Pousada Papyrus exceeded our expectations. The grounds were beautiful and made us feel like we were in the middle of a forest. The view of Serra de São José greeted us every morning as we sat in the breakfast room. The staff was the friendliest and most helpful. They enjoyed helping all guests feel at home. On Wednesday, we had a special treat for dinner. We had dinner prepared right there at the Pousada. It was super delicious. Would I go back and stay at this Pousada? You bet!"
