Coffee, tea, and small individually-wrapped cakes were available for breakfast time. One drawback was the hard-as-rock beds in all 3 of our rooms. "

"Our options were limited as we were only staying for one night and most hotels require you to book a two night minimum. That said, LKP was great and had hands down the best mattress of all of the hotels we stayed at over the course of our stay. The location is pretty removed from the tourist street which is nice if you want to be away from the tourist area but inconvenient if you want to be near travel agencies and have several restaurant options. It's a 40 min walk to the main tourist street....

"Sometimes you get what you pay for. . . Quiet, cheap with comfortable bed. Cramped shower/toilet. Raft floating on the river Kwai. Close to nightlife & restaurants, far enough for quiet sleep. "
