"The hotel is quaint and very friendly. It is especially dog friendly which many guests appreciated. Our room was large and comfortable with its own bathroom. Michelle our host was extremely friendly and accommodating. I had lamb shanks for dinner which was a huge serving and very delicious. My husband had the muscles and was left with enough room to finish my large serving. A walk through the lovely gardens ended our evening perfectly. The road up is narrow and not for the faint of heart."
"This was a lovely find. So relaxing and the spa was amazing and free to use throughout our stay plus a great gym . Gorgeous woodland walks with sea view. If you want to unwind and relax this is the place .
Staff friendly and was so kind to my dog giving him treats .
Food looked good but we didn't eat there. Will definitely be staying again but with a hot tub 😊"
"The first morning my partner slipped & fell. Breaking his left wrist & a right elbow on which he needs a operation. There were no warnings about it may be slippy. Told owner who looked at me blankly & didn't offer any help. Had to come home two days early."
"A friendly welcome to the property. Although nowhere in the village to eat in the evening, we were recommended a restaurant 5 minute drive away in Corwen.
Straightforward continental breakfast in the morning available.
As the pub shut at 10pm, there was no late night noise so enjoyed a good night's sleep. A great base for exploring the area."
"Nice setting and very clean. Unfortunately, the property wasn't equipped for the hot weather. Luckily, we brought our own fan, as the place became very warm. For the price we paid, I would have expected at least a couple of fans to be provided. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but this is something that could definitely be improved."
"Great base for walking the Llanberis path up Snowden. The hosts were extremely welcoming, warm, and knowledgable about the local area. A selection of teas and coffee are available in the lounge area which felt much needed after the climb! Room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was lovely. Would definitely recommend :)"

Breakfast was excellent (possibly best fresh fruit collection I've seen at a hotel for a long time).
Staff were friendly and helpful.
The only minor gripe was the wifi in the room was poor. However not a big issue which could easily be solved with a wifi extender.
