"This is a wonderful old place but…you MUST have a car! We did not have one but it’s very inconvenient and expensive to get one to come up to this area. Also - there is no dinner service on Sunday evenings - which was the day we stayed here. The staff was SO amazing and do make us a charcuterie plate - and they were wonderful. The rooms are sparse but very clean. "

Was welcomed by Il Capo and his family (Fabio and his wife and 2 sons) special shout out to Fabio and Eduardo who spoke very good English and recommended us great places to visit. They made us feel like being at home. Their hotel has a small pool… perfect for a dip in to cool off and a brand new jacuzzi which was a bonus! Great location with nice views from the rooms. "This place is great! When we started to plan our trip to Florence we couldn't believe the high cost of the hotels there...so we decided to stay in Prato because it's less than 30 min. in a train that runs few times every hour for under $3 each way. 10 min. walk from the train station Prato Centrale to this family run old school hotel. Prato is also great historic town with restaurants and all you need if you decide to eat there. What a great stay. Saved us over $1000 in our 7 day trip. Thanks!!!"

"È oggettivamente più che due stelle, considerati la camera e il bagno ristrutturati (la nostra affacciava su una chiostrina interna ma per due notti andava più che bene, considerato che ci hanno dato addirittura una tripla al posto di una doppia). Unica precisazione che farei è che la colazione non è un vero buffet ma è ad ordine "libero", diciamo: chiedi quello che vuoi e te lo portano."

"Very friendly managers. Good location. Everything as advertised! We had a 2nd floor apt with balcony. There is a nice shared patio on ground floor. Minutes from both train stations. Terme has be devastated by covid and hence fewer tourist. We stayed a week and made trips to Firenze, Luca, Pisa. and alto. Small but very nice."

"We really enjoyed this hotel! The owner was very sweet and hard working. The beds were a bit hard, but nothing too uncomfortable. Breakfast was good. Neighborhood seems up-and-coming but we only stated one night so have a limited view. The hotel is clean and we would go again for the value."

"The hotel was ok. We drove so the distance from Florence (our intended destination ) was fine. We stayed 2 nights but they didn't clean our room or change our towels. We had to ask twice for towels. The wifi was unusable. The beds were comfortable."

"It was really happy for my stay. the guy, Mr. Andrea, who is very kind and helpful, had offered all the best service for me so I feel really comfortable during stay. The room was super clean and of course the bathroom was also nice and clean. For me the cleaness is most important matter so I was happy with them. "It’s well above the pollution in the city but takes 20 minutes to climb the hill in a car. The accommodation is pretty basic but clean. Marco makes a big effort to be helpful and made coffee for us early because we had to get to the airport. Overall it was a positive experience based upon price. The restaurant of choice is Zocchi about 8 minutes down the road."
