"It is an older property. The room itself, although clean, had unfinished drywall parches on the walls. The bathroom door had a fist punch hole in it. The carpet had a section of a repair patch. Spots on the ceiling. TV had a few stations. The room had a musty type smell.. Other than that it was close to shopping and restaurants."

"They are currently undergoing renovations. Having said that, when I went into my room an turned on the lights the roaches started running. They moved me to upgraded newer room. Didn't see any roachs there but I could not help but be on the lookout for them. The only other issue I had was This was a second floor room over the entrance of the hotel, When people were out there talking you could hear every word they were saying (the windows are closed) Regardless of the bad, the staff was very good...

"I love this place.. I always make it my place while there"

"Patching and painting was rather amateurish. Otherwise very friendly staff!"

"A clean, pleasant hotel with lots of light and friendly staff in the middle of little Leonardtown. I actually asked the front desk if they were new because of how clean everything was and they said they did a major renovation about 5 years ago. Easy (and FREE) parking across the street. Our room (a king bed) was clean and quiet. If we're ever in the area again, this is where we'd stay."

"Stay away from Expedia"

"Breakfast was plentiful and mostly good. Staff was quite accommodating and friendly."

"Kind and respectful staff! Close to nice restaurants and stores. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable and clean."

"This is an older hotel that really hasn't kept up to today's expectations for the average hotel guest. But, for the price, I got exactly what I expected, that being a clean room, a place to bathe, a small kitchenette and a place to sleep. The staff was friendly & helpful. For those giving bad reviews for this place, I'd only remind them that this was by far, the cheapest place around. I only paid $64 per night, so I think I got a good deal."

"Everything about this home is amazing! I loved chatting with the owner of the home and seeing the property! All the food was to die for!!! On top of all this it was so close to places for me to shark tooth hunt!!! 10 out of 10! Will be going back!!!"

"We arrived at the property to find it was closed. No advanced notice. We had called the hotel several times to alert them that we would not arrive until after 8, phone message said they were busy helping other customers or had stepped away from the desk. Had to find another hotel at 8:30 on a Friday night."

"If you want a quiet slice of VA/Potomac waterfront, this is the place."
