"The location was good but honestly I wouldn’t book again. It was so difficult to get to my room. And I didn’t hear back from them when asking for help untill I reach out to Expedia. The doors are so close to eachother you can hear everything and I had the worst night sleep. Since I kept thinking people were trying to get into my room but it was just the next door. The shower jsut close properly so all of the water spills out of the shower and I had to use all my towels to clean it."
"This is not a luxury hotel but it was very clean and comfortable. I slept better in this property than any of the 4-4 star hotels over the past 10 days! Very basic amenities. A wonderful stay for a fair price!"
"This was a lovely relaxing stay in a spacious clean room with a partial view over Lake Maggiore. The beds were comfortable, the room was quiet and restful. The breakfast was good value. The staff were lovely, and the hotel was generally kept in good condition and is situated in a great location just up from the railway station. The included Ticino card was great for local travel. A couple of niggles being that the available TV channels were mainly local, and nearby restaurant options for the...
"Perfect location, friendly staff and although the rooms are basic, they provide everything you need.
Convenient parking just next to the station.
Breakfast just fine and it was lovely to be able to eat on the terrace in the beautiful spring weather"
"What a gem of a place! It's run by two folks who clearly put a lot of care, attention, and hospitality knowledge into the experience. I loved the location which was across from a bus stop that runs right into town, next to a grocery store, and within short walking distance of the lovely Ascona waterfront. It was also a good location for morning runs. The breakfast was good and while I didn't try the restaurant, it had lively crowds and the food looked delicious. Highly recommend!"
"Well first problem I have been double billed once by expedia and then second by the hotel. Took over an hour waiting for entry to the room. The Wifi didn’t work. the television didn’t work and the assigned parking wasn’t assigned. The room was very clean and the appliances state of the art. The restaurant was great and the breakfast was excellent. I didn’t enjoy not having a person to speak with and every response was that they would pass in on to the local staff but nobody was there."
"The wi-fi information listed on the back of the door was wrong.
I was there for just about 2 weeks and they did not stock the apartment properly for the length of my stay. The glass light fixture had food slime on it, the shower ceiling had black mold I was given 1 of each; dish cloth, washing cloth, dishwashing tab, wine glass. I had to ask for mugs. The flatware was scratched,"
