"I stayed in Newcastle for three nights and was incredibly fortunate to choose Drummer Lodge. The location, surrounding environment, and the room’s facilities can only be described as excellent and delightful—absolutely fantastic! The hostess, Fiona, and her husband, Perry, are both extremely friendly and warm, making you feel right at home in no time. At dawn, the chirping birds under the giant Scottish pine trees gently wake you from a restful night’s sleep, as the distant mountains emerge from the morning mist. As a traveler, after a refined and delicious breakfast and a cup of hot coffee, what better place could there be to recharge your energy and embrace a new day? Ready for your Tee time. "It was such a peaceful stay. The staff were really helpful. Our room was great, really spacious and the bed was comfy. We sat in the lounge and it was so relaxing watching the birds..such a wonderful place."

"Myself and my partner only stayed for one night. The cabin was very clean and cosy with everything we needed for our short break. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent, things that not all places we have stayed get right. We used it as a stop off on our trip to photograph the mountains and surrounding areas, this was the perfect stop off for what we wanted.
