"We’ll start with the good: Comfy mattress, individual lights/power outlets and amazing location. Unfortunately, a lot to be desired. Opened in 2010, this would have been an awesome building at the time. But it feels like no one has maintained it since then. A broken escalator in the middle of the hostel has clearly been out of service for a long time. All of the storage cupboards in the room were either jammed shut or without keys. He provided many wonderful recommendations for restaurants, bars, and even suggested someone to help us book a few tours. He was very responsive to all my questions - even the stupid ones - and just made the whole stay in Split very easy and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this place to stay in the heart of Old Town."
