The hotel is well located both within the Basque countryside but also within walking distance of the town (20 minutes), which affords many bars and restaurants (indeed a disproportionate number for so a small a town - I counted about 20!) Their very friendly manager & owner welcome, as well as attention to detail and a tasty breakfast including local traditional cakes he bakes himself, and more simple amenities are there to enjoy by guests."

"El check in y la tarjeta de la habitación es super práctico, todo virtual. La habitación y baño limpios y ordenados. La cama bien. Hay parking fuera del hotel, puntazo a favor. Buena calefacción. En general, tiene todo lo básico para descansar. "

"Excellent location to walk to everywhere, surprising good restaurants not in the old town area but out side the old town in the southern border, the traditional fine art museum contents are average, but the buildings complex are superb, the modern art museum is excellent inside and out."

"It's more of a motel. The rooms are basic and the equipment modest and old, but the beds are comfortable. Rooms and bathrooms are cleaned daily, but they are also annoyingly fragrant. Every day we found one cockroach - one on the terrace of the restaurant, one in the hallway in front of the room and one in the bathroom."
