"The drive in is gorgeous. Arriving in Glenelg, the location is remote, but very much worth the drive. Rebecca and Ian were superb hosts. The rooms were modern, clean and well appointed. The kitchenette was well stocked. The shower was amazing, but not so much as the view from the door. We've been to 19 countries on 4 continents and rarely had such an exceptional view. We will definitely add another stay here on any future trips to Scotland."
"Lovely cosy cottage called “The Wee Cottage”. It was not so “wee” and was exactly as described with a direct view on the harbour. Perfect spot to do our Skye tour and then conveniently leave east the next morning!"
"Loch Eyre House is a charming and private bed & breakfast. The fact that it's 7 miles from the traffic of Portree is a big plus-- at Loch Eyre House you have quiet and a beautiful view of Loch Eyre. The guest lounge is a comfortable place to read or play cards if the weather isn't great. Our room had everything we needed, plus a balcony porch with table and chairs. "La ubicación de la casa estaba muy bien: muy cerca del mar y los lugares de visita de la zona. La propiedad en sí necesita algo de mantenimiento en especial las zonas exteriores de la casa. Se podría mejorar el acceso peatonal desde donde se parquea el vehículo. La cocina muy bien equipada y eso nos gustó. Aunque la casa estaba limpia, en los clósets se sentía un poco de moho."
"The cabin was a lovely tranquil space. Away from the hubbub of Portree and all on its own.
It was so peaceful looking over the water with a horse and sheep as the immediate neighbours.
I didn't manage to work the induction hob but was able to use the oven just fine.
The hot tub was a rare treat too. It took a bit to figure it out but nothing a wee Youtube video couldnt fix. "
"Great property. It is a remote location that is a bit of a drive to get to. It would be great (imho) for stays consisting of at least several days or longer.
One suggestion for the property is to add a mirror over the bathroom sink. The mirror on the opposite wall isn’t as practical.

"I was doing the NC500 as a solo traveller and stayed here as the last stop. The rooms themselves were clean, but keep in mind that there are no towels or quilt in the room. As someone who was travelling light, this meant using my t shirt as a makeshift quilt. I would’ve actually got some sleep with this setup, if it wasn’t for another guest snoring next door through the night. Of course, this isn’t the bunkhouse’s fault, but just note that the walls are very thin, and earplugs do help a bit but...
