"Could have been better if the staff were better"

"Perfectly adequate room in charming village."

"Remember to take soap. My pass key failed on a couple of occasions which was a nuisance, but the staff quickly sorted the problem, It was very hot everywhere - thank goodness there wasn't a heatwave outside. Several maintenance problems - no window blind, a broken cupboard door and wonky toilet roll holder in my room. It was a relatively short, pleasant walk to the retail park where there is also a cinema. It was good to have a bus stop just outside the Halls to take you into Inverness. I...

"It was expensive for what it is !"

"The room was acceptable, the restaurant was fine, and most of the staff were pleasant (including the owner). The problem came when I asked for change for a 20 pound English note so I could leave a tip after I paid for dinner. The change I was given was Scottish currency. I was told that English currency was not available. And while it may have the same value as English currency, it is not readily accepted in other parts of the UK or in overseas territories. I had a bit of a disagreement over...

"A fantastic stay at Glen Lyon Lodge! We stayed in the beautiful Skye room, with a lovely view of the garden. Everything was spotlessly clean, fresh, and very comfortable. Helen is a wonderful host, friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The fresh milk for tea in the room was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was excellent too. Don't miss Helen's delicious avocado toast and homemade porridge! The location is perfect, with restaurants and the beach within easy walking distance, and...

"I cannot review this property as it is permanently closed. We were not informed of this. Luckily we managed to get accommodation elsewhere but paid twice the price. "

"Nice and clean. Comfy beds. Loved it"

"This is a great apartment to use as home base. Clean, spacious and in a fantastic location. Highly recommended. The only problem was the bed and lounge were both soft and probably need replacing."

"The room was luxury hotel standard with a small en-suite. There was another room with a microwave fridge crockery and tables and chairs and couches. All was luxury hotel standard. It was perfect for a 2 night stay but I could have stayed for months.,…"

"Cottage magnifique et idéalement situé avec une vue splendide sur la baie où l’on peut voir de très près des dauphins depuis la plage. L’hôte est disponible et très sympathique."

"Spent a few days at Kestrel Longhouse and the cottage is totally adequate but maybe a little tired. However we enjoyed our stay and Kenneth is a lovely host."

"The bedroom was clean and toilet were clean. In terms of comfort there was no mattress protector on the bed and a pretty thin sheet on top of the mattress. Therefore pretty basic and uncomfortable bed. There was one bath towel and a mat. No toiletries or hairdryer. The kitchen was a bonus. However the bin was full and some other residents left dirty plates in the sink, The security men on site were pleasant and friendly."

"We enjoyed a very relaxing break at the Project Binka caravan and it was conveniently situated for day trips along NC500."
