"We spent 10 days at la Résidence Les embruns in September, and we loved it. It's an older property that would benefit from some renovations and updates (like a fresh coat of paint all over). That said, it's very close to the wonderful beach, and also services like a grocery store (Carrefour Market). Carole at the reception desk is a pleasure to deal with. Downtown is about one kilometre away, an easy and pleasant walk. Very recommended."

"Extremely rude and unprofessional receptionist. The photos of the hotel do not describe the property correctly. While you can see the hotel building on the photos, our room was in some low rise (1 floor) building which you enter from the outside. The bathroom was renovated except for the floor tiles which have seen better days (the same tiles were in the room as well). The room had such a strong chemical smell that was there to probably mask some other smell, which unfortunately was still coming...

"I received an excellent and very warm welcome. Mary greeted me and made sure everything was to my satisfaction and offered to carry my bags to my room (which was on the second floor and only accessible by a spiral staircase). The room was in excellent condition and very clean and tidy. I had a continental breakfast which was well presented and more than adequate (in quality and quantity).
