Bellavista Cloud Forest Reserve and Lodge is an amazing place to stay. They have extremely knowledgeable birding and wildlife guides and the people who work there are super nice. The food is great, although the options are limited. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. Ours looked out into the cloud forest. Don't expect a luxury experience. This is a fairly remote location that is ideal for nature lovers and particularly birders. I would recommend getting a package if you go that...

Our stay at Turismo Comunitario Las Esperanza was unforgettable thanks to the incredible location, the incredibly kind hosts, and the unique opportunity to share some time with members of an indigenous community. We stayed in the traditional choza which was large, clean and comfortable. The food (dinner and breakfast) was delicious and well prepared. We regretted not having more time to explore the area both hiking and on horseback. We will be sure to return for those activities. When we...

A truly remarkable experience. Great place. Great service. Great food. The views are amazing and the place was all that we expected. We took the horse ride and it was great. I recommend this place to any wine wanting a relaxing and beautiful experience!

A wonderful, small hotel with clean rooms and great views of Banos and the waterfall and hills beyond the town. A reasonably priced breakfast was good and served by attentive staff. All the personal were very helpful and friendly.

Easy to get to important sites just by walking. Loved the rooftop...very quiet. This hostel was a lot quieter than others in the area.

This is a great place to stay and an incredible value. The room, was large, clean and the shower was hot. The "continental breakfast was actually eggs, bread, cheese, fruit, juice and coffee.

I absolutely loved my night here. My only regret was that I only had 1 night! For sure I would return. Its just outside the city center which is fabulous if you value peace and quiet as I do. I loved the property that included a path to the river, hammocks, a lovely outdoor breakfast area, and a pool that had changing stalls and bathrooms. Even the walk to the river had bathrooms nearby and campsites which I would definitely make use of given the opportunity! The room itself is basic but very...

Awesome stay; clean room with a hidden parking lot. The staff extremely friendly, always willing to help. We were lucky to taste the yummy Hornado they made in the breakfast area.

Wonderful people very helpful. Gave us good advice where to eat and where to find ATM

Really close to old city and roof top bar overlooking the cathedral. Amazing family run place. Felt like you'd joined their family staying here

Excelente ubicación para visitar el casco antiguo de la ciudad. Personal muy amable y atento

The staff were great. The airport shuttle worked very well and breakfast was good. The shower and bathroom was very nice. Filtered water was available in the office and the grounds were nice with places to sit. The room was pretty small by tolerable. We highly recommend this hotel.
