"We had a crazy busy summer with no vacation time, we wanted to get away somewhere for the fall for a quick weekend trip. We loved staying at the honey branch hideaway. The house is wonderful. The kids loved playing on the mountain side. We used the fire pit one evening for s’mores and enjoyed wine on the patio and cooking out. "We are familiar with the area as we have been coming to Eagle Nest and Idlewild since I was a child. We were excited to find such a great place in Eagle Nest. A perfect spot to see the July 4th parade line up and got to watch the fireworks from the front lawn. Hope to rent the place again."
