"We booked a room with sea view and it was great, the room was spacious and just as pictured. The place is easy to find using a GPS but beware of the very steep uphill streets. There are about 5 parking spots on-site but 3 of them are covered and the street is so narrow, the person from the hostel recommended parking in the street to avoid risk of being blocked and not able to move our car. "This hotel benefits from it's central location, close to shops, and beach. However during my stay in December an xmas market was constructed in the plaza directly outside the hotel, causing. Noise and light pollution. Lights flickered on and off for hours before the system was correctly coordinated. Music blaring out 'Felice navidad' and other Mediocre Xmas tune's played from early evening till almost midnight. Surprisingly this Xmas market does not allow vendors."

"This is one of those places that fills a need for accommodation in between destinations. For the price it is quite good - clean and quiet - but nothing fancy. The staff is friendly and helpful. The town doesn't really have anything but it is conveniently located between Almeria and Motril."

"Quiet hotel in a semi run down area. Not much around. When we were there the parking was 'broken' so we parked behind the hotel in a free 'car park' which was half a demolish site. My partner wasn't too happy about leaving it there but thankfully was still there in the morning. The hotel itself is fine. The room is clean, staff friendly. "Beautiful, accommodating, off grid, stunning views. Google will misdirect you. As soon as it says turn left off the road, instead go straight ahead for 2 km and pick up the signs on the lampposts. After we pulled ourselves from the arroyo, we asked the locals where the place was and it was extremely easy to find with their directions. Wonderful staff and historic location.
