"We had a great Onam getaway at Gokulam Grand. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The sadya was excellent. Special mention goes to Sangeetha, Nandana, Akash, Aditya and Onam sadya team. "We had a lovely stay in one of the AC rooms, which had its own small seating area and was very private and peaceful. A haven from the busy Varkala. The gardens here are beautiful and well kept, the staff all sweet and attentive and helpful, available 24hr. The breakfast included at their restaurant nearby was also great. But it was quite loud at night due to neighbouring properties, but maybe due to being there in peak season! "

"The Itsy by Treebo is barely a hotel. It has the sense of a building under construction, in a part of the city under construction as well. Amenities are barebone and the staff barely speaks English. I was also particularly annoyed because while I was napping the staff barged into my room to install a new TV. That was completely unacceptable as I said I did not want them in the room, and they did it anyways. I would absolutely not stay here again."
