"This hotel has breakfast included (verry good) it is walking distance to the most beautiful beach I've seen so far no river to cross nothing. The train station Bentota is 50 metres away next to Coco's restaurant for fresh fish and cold beer ! Staying a few days here is a must !"

"Unfortunately this place is in desperate need of investment. The kerb appeal is very good but the jetty for example is falling into the river and not as pictured. The room wasn't very clean which is a great pity as the owner is very friendly. The food was lovely, we had both Breakfast and evening meals and could not fault them. It just a great shame that it is not as good as it could be. If the owner makes a investment in his property he could definitely charge more to stay."

The owners are a lovely couple who are very friendly and kept the house super clean. The villa is located just a few minutes drive to the beach and is close to all main amenities. Highly recommend!!! "We booked and paid via hotel.com BUT when we arrived the manager explained Expedia instructed him to charge us for the room. We spent 2 hours chatting with hotels.com whereby they promised to refund us, so we also paid cash (so double) while waiting for hotels.com to refund us. BUT we now received a email explaining they could NOT get in contact with hotel and will NOT REFUND us! "
