"Good: * very spacious rooms * super friendly staff * renovated, clean, and modern design inside the hotel * 5 min walk to the beach * good noise isolation in rooms Could be better: * no shops around to buy supplies * no rental service for SUP, snorkeling gear or shops around that provide such equipment * no water provided for rooms"

"Average experience, this is clearly a newly open residence and only one floor is in service while the owner is still renovating the second floor. Maybe a lot for one person to handle , but professionalism could improve, cleanliness was ok but not perfect and while some things are newly renovated, this is an older building. Owner is helpful though and this may all improve in time . For now it’s a bit expensive for what it is, but there is limited options on Aka island anyways. "

"Loved this guest house! The room is nice and the guest house has common showers and bathroom as well as a common kitchen where you can store whatever you need in the fridge or freezer, which ended up being very handy as almost every store closes before 6pm.. they also offer food there in case you couldn’t get any and I found that very thoughtful. They also offer snorkel rental for 1000yen and is definitely worth it!"

"Tokashiki is such a beautiful island. The cabin was spacious and quiet, with easy access to amazing trails and beaches. We had a great time!"

"The staff - especially the lady who picked us up from rhe ferry terminal and the lady who dropped us back there - were lovely, helpful and knowledgeable. There is exceptionally good snorkelling a short walk away."

"A little uphill to the main road to make it quiet and having big enough room as it is one floor of a house. Need a car if you can drive because public transportation is not popular in the area. 4 towels were provided even booked for two people. However, no new towel was given for 3 days of stay."

"Literally 3 mins walk to Ama beach. A couple of cafes close by for snacks and lunch. The local bus departs from a few minutes away and takes you to Zamami port. English speaking staff explain everything you need. Its a 15 minutes walk to Zamami village area."

"Yuumi and her team were so lovely and made us feel so welcome in Aka! They picked us up from the port even though it was a short way which was so helpful with our luggage. Hosei is right on the beach front and you can see the best sunset from here as well as relax in the day. It is so tranquil! We went during New Year and many places on the island were closed but they served food which was very traditional Japanese style. The rooms and shared bathroom/shower were always very very clean.
