"I thought the room was overpriced for a 2 star hotel, midweek, off season. The room was clean, the staff friendly and the made to order breakfast sandwiches were good. I was disappointed the hot tub was out of order as that was one of the reasons I chose this hotel. After a long day driving, my back needed a hot soak."

"The staff was excellent, and very friendly. It was so clean! And they had a little continental breakfast, too! Definitely would like to go back!"

"The Sands is an old-school motel, but the room was clean and comfortable."

"Great boutique hotel in historic building with nice mediterranean restaurant and taproom on the first floor. Staff is super friendly and helpful and rooms were very clean."
