"Richard was very helpful . The hotel is 150 + years old as it was the railway hotel right next to the train station. It has a restaurant/ lounge that serves food and the breakfast was very good. There is very little available in the immediate area. Lochcarron is about 2+ miles away."
"A fantastic stay at Kintail Lodge! We stayed in the beautiful room number 1, with a lovely view. Everything was spotlessly clean, fresh, and very comfortable.
Helen is a wonderful host, friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Breakfast was excellent, and we had dinners always in their restuarant, which was very good too.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back!"
"Room was cozy and comfortable and mattress and duvet were soft and super inviting. I am a 70 year old solo traveler and felt very safe. Very homey. Not slick and impersonal. Owners were friendly and explained how to adjust heating etc. Absolutely would stay there again!"
"Lovely cosy cottage called “The Wee Cottage”. It was not so “wee” and was exactly as described with a direct view on the harbour. Perfect spot to do our Skye tour and then conveniently leave east the next morning!"
"It is a great view! Easy to park just over the road. Plenty of breakfast items and fruit provided. It was a bit cold when we arrived but once the heating was on we warmed up. Bed comfy, big telly."
"From the moment we approached the driveway I was taken aback. There’s a large pile of old tires at the bottom of the drive. The drive is several hundred feet long and very rutted and muddy. It badly needs to be regraveled, as does the parking area.
The picture of the house on the listing is many years old, and it needs paint badly now. I know it’s a wet environment, but it’s not well maintained.
Inside is not real clean. There’s a lot of mold, and a lot of basic repairs need to be done....
"A fantastic place surrounded by powerful nature! Very big apartament, clean, with coffe, tea, milk available in the room. Kind persons, pub and restaurant nearby. Top place for me!"
"Lovely little cabin, but again the Expedia location details did not match the actual location of the Cabin. Quiet and quaint.
States breakfast was included, but there was no breakfast included either morning. Where was this breakfast supposed to be found?"
"If you are looking for a bang for your buck, this is the place. However, the room had a terrible odor. As if it was musty or moldy. We entered the room the window was propped open, the light and fan were on in the bathroom. And, I could still smell something. During the night it was cold so I closed the window and turned on the portable heater that was there. The smell was super distracting. If you are looking for price, this is it. If you are looking for a good nights sleep - choose...
