"Nice quiet place with lovely scenery and very comfortable rooms and large beds. The pool was a decent size, but the hot tub was not warm when we visited. Helpful staff as there are limiited dining options, so be prepared to drive somewhere to eat. Not easy to spot the entrance to the hotel. It is accessible via the double wooden door and an intercom as seen from google street view of the address. Would recommend for couples. "

"Can't say enough good things about the property but specifically the owners. They were kind, attentive and friendly. Made us feel special. This was the perfect place for us to stay as it was exactly halfway between Santander and the house we're renovating in the area. "The only thing is that due to its location the parking is complicated and smelly, we just left the car in there to the last day. The breakfast buffet was just good, but they don’t clean the used tables, so we moved the dirty dishes ti another table to be able to seat where we want, and you need to ask for juice etc; the staff were good and nice, but what happen is that there’re only two workers; they moved fast and wanted to help everyone but there were much of guest for only two staff. On the other hand Marea Alta has great menu and the staff was very professional and friendly; the paella was exquisite, I recommend it. "
