"You get what you pay for. Rooms were clean and fresh looking and basic. The hotel is literally reception and rooms no other facilities. The only downside for me personally was I found it noisy, noise from people inside and from the outside. It did the jod though and in a great location"

"Lovely friendly Hostel. Currently being renovated and new rooms will be modern and bright. We stayed in one of the older rooms which was functional for our visit but basic as we expected. A kettle would have been a bonus but hopefully in the upgrades this will be available. We loved stunning Altea - and the view from the roof was amazing, we would definitely come back to the area. "Is a few minutes' walk to the beach. Restaurants on the door of the Hostal a lot of options a market next door and another market across the street that sales all kinds of fruit vegetables, fish, meat, ham and a lot more of other things. "

"Best thing about this hotel - first drop off and last pick up for the airport transfers. 3 min walk to the beach. Brilliant for couples as old town is on the doorstep. 25/35 min walk to the square which is easy enough to find. Clean hotel room. Wasn't expecting much as its quite small and 'local' but really powerful shower and lovely staff who served us solaros at 1am each night. Would definitely go back."

"Very nice place to spend the night when visiting Guadalest. It’s only ten minutes away from the town and the castle. The location is blessed by a wonderful view of the whole valley down to the Mediterranean. Staff is very nice and the restaurant is excellent."

We kept on thinking about the potential that this location actually had. They could have half of the rooms that they do, but increase the size of the ones...

"Spacious apartments cleaned regularly, perfect location for beach and nightlife, and although the reception hours were limited the staff there were friendly polite and helpful to a fault."

"We stayed for just one night. It’s one of the few places where you can check-in up to midnight, so it’s convenient if you will arrive late in Alicante like we did. The place is dated, but is very central. The room was clean and organized, but don’t expect a lot. The walls aren’t soundproof, so you can hear pretty much everything. It’s just really a place to rest and sleep after exploring the city. The big plus was the receptionist. He speaks English, he’s very accommodating and would gladly help...
