"I honestly choose a resort, but I accidentally choose this area. However, I would recommend for those who are low budget travelers but who are willing to take a break and rest in their amazing hot springs. They do have hiking trail, but it is the best not to go in the midst of rain. You will slip and get yourself all muddy. I learn that that hard way. The staff were not only courteous and efficient, they went out of their way to accommodate my every need unexpectedly as I don’t speak Spanish. Thankfully several of them did.
The hotel is a few minutes walk to the metro which takes you to many tourist attractions, most of the places you will want to see around the city in just a few minutes. Great spot and you won’t be sorry to stay.
As a sole traveller, I ate at the hotel every night and breakfast. The breakfast buffet was extensive, with many healthy options available and the dinner menu was very good, nicely presented by the chef. AND the best margaritas I have had in Quito by far. Would happily revisit!"
