"The style of the rooms is very nice but the mattress and pillows were very hard. There is no lift or offer of help with your luggage. I have a 35kg case and it wasn’t great. The food area is left open to flies and the fish wasn’t refrigerated so I’m unsure on the hygiene standards being very good here, along with the risk of contamination."

"This place is super inexpensive but be prepared for a very dingy hostel. This hostel is hidden above an AirAsia travel shop (that is where you enter). The room was basically falling apart. When I wanted to go to sleep I lifted up the ragedy blanket and there was a giant bug in it. We ended up leaving and going to a clean hostel around the corner that only cost a few dollars more."

"It's not cozy and the toilets are right next to the dorm beds. Tiny flies are often guests in a dorm. But the staff is absolutely wonderful and the place is kinda clear, so all and all, totally worth the price."

"This hotel is in a nice area. Quiet and away from the crazy party, but a short easy walk from khao San Road. It's comfortable and clean, the dorm rooms have curtains on the beds for extra privacy. Free breakfast is included with the stay, it's simple but it's nice to have something to eat. My main complaint is the common area isn't well set up to meet others. Other hostels in the same area have much better common areas."

"I booked this hostel not knowing what to expect but I've made three seperate bookings to stay here in a row simply because it gets a big thumbs up all round. There is no communal area but this place is so excellently located that it is totally balanced off with the beach 2 mins away literally and the abundance of restaurants directly outside (no noise from these reaches the dorms) every member of staff is happy to help with anything at anytime and bike hire is great and easy too. "The room was located in a brilliant area! Couldn’t fault that at all, seconds from the beach, local bars and a lovely cafe. The room itself was of a decent size and was fairly quiet at night. The only thing we found to be wrong was the hardness of the bed. It was solid. Our stay conisited of two straight weeks and we thought we might get used to the mattress in time... unfortunately that did not happen. That is literally the only fault we found with the room.
