"This is the only true hotel in Villena, and as a result it has seen its better days, but still continues to fill up as Villena is a vacation location. The restaurant downstairs does not open until 9 and closes early. No smoking is not really enforced, our room smelled horribly seeing as the last patron, according to the cleaning lady was a heavy smoker. "Lovely little place, very friendly and extremely helpful staff, mostly Spanish custom, I think I only spoke to one other British visitor in the whole fortnight! Big Carp in the lake if you're into fishing, only problem being the access needs making a bit more disabled friendly. Could do with a bit more choice on the menu, but what there was, was very nice."

"Best thing about this hotel - first drop off and last pick up for the airport transfers. 3 min walk to the beach. Brilliant for couples as old town is on the doorstep. 25/35 min walk to the square which is easy enough to find. Clean hotel room. Wasn't expecting much as its quite small and 'local' but really powerful shower and lovely staff who served us solaros at 1am each night. Would definitely go back."

"Very nice place to spend the night when visiting Guadalest. It’s only ten minutes away from the town and the castle. The location is blessed by a wonderful view of the whole valley down to the Mediterranean. Staff is very nice and the restaurant is excellent."
