"PROS: Great location, near train station, not too many steps up. Very convenient the private parking in La Spezia (the public parking at the La Spezia train station gets full by mid-morning). Clean, comfortable apartment. Staff responsive via phone, gave great advice on restaurant and baggage storage. CONS: the only window gives on to an adjacent wall. Staff not responsive to Expedia messages. Micro bathroom. Don't let the check-in guy break your passport to take a picture of it!"

"We had an excellent experience. Our check in was easy, the rooms were great. The hotel restaurant and pub was just perfect and the walk to town and beach area was very easy and quick. The staff was friendly and looked after everything that we could have needed. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we would come back to this hotel again. Highly recommend. "

"The view from the room was the most beautiful ocean view! The view from the rooftop terrace is stunning all day and especially in the evening at sunset. Probably one of the best spots to stay in Manarola. Such a great place to stay and we had a wonderful host Tatyna who made it extra special and always making sure we had everything we needed / needed to know. We cannot wait to come back! "

"Great location in Manarola - far enough up the street so that few tourists pass by. Balcony was wonderful in the mornings. Check-in/check-out was easy. Internet only worked upstairs, the only small TV was downstairs in the bedroom, and we really wished the bed was softer (hard compared to US rentals). After seeing all 5 towns, we would stay in Manarola again, and would rent Le Coste again."

"The place was clean and inviting for a reasonable price. Breakfast was included. The place was near the water/beach so it was easy to enjoy the quiet in the morning and evening. Dining and shopping close by. You need to be able to go up several stairs to get to the apartment."

"Very centrally located, only a short walk to the train station but located up 2 long flight of stairs so be wary of heavy suitcases. Breakfast buffet was fantastic. Would stay again. "

Truth to be told - Bonassola is what we decided to all one of "Our places" to come back and enjoy. But those church bells... who on earth needs exact time during night? 1 in 1000 people?"
