"Great stay and clean place!"

"Khen’s home was perfect for our large family. It was well equipped with everything we needed and although the area had some questionable characters pass through at times, they kept to themselves and we felt quite safe."

"First floor apartment in a house slept four people comfortably. Stairs to entrance. Interior layout of rooms is quirky, as one might expect in a conversion. Heat varied widely from room to room and we could not figure out how to adjust it. Nearest BART station is MacArthur, 1/2 mile walk. Street parking was not hard to find. Neighborhood is urban. Shops and restaurants are walkable. Owner very responsive. We were satisfied with our stay."

"The condo was fantastic (lots of stairs 3 stories) beds very comfortable overall a good place. The surrounding were a little scary lots of homeless but condo in a gated place with a garage behind the property & safe. "

"Easy location to get everywhere. In town to visit family for the holiday. The house was everything we needed for our visit. Hosts were super quick to respond to any issue we had."

"This home was well supplied & clean (could use lamps, suitcase rack). Great home in really really rough area. Every Uber advised against going out after dark, carrying backpacks or bags. This home in any other location would have been a 5 star. The listing suggested an up and coming "hip" area of Oakland. We didn't speak with anyone who thought that and it did not feel like it an area being gentrified. We almost asked to move but decided to stay and just shut ourselves in since we would only be...

"Did not actually stay at property because neighborhood did not appear safe and unable to park close to house. Look closely at neighborhood with “exotic” store around corner, graffiti everywhere."

"Lana was great. Location was close to interstate and easy to navigate around the area. Two king beds were great and the other room has 2 beds. Everyone had their own space. Kitchen had everything we needed. Communication with Lana was amazing. She repsonded quickly to all our questions and needs. Not sure when we will come this way again but will stay here if we do!"
